The grapes, after being harvested, are softy pressed; then are placed into steel inox vats. Fermentantion is done by a controlled temperature of 28-30° that is helped by regular pumping over, this is permits the pulp to be extracted from its skin, which is an important function in the quality of wine. Aged for a brife period in barrels of Slavonia oak of 30 hl, the wine is then put into bottles from 4 to 6 months. It is a wine structured and balanced with pronounced tannins from its ruby red colour . Intense perfume, fruity taste of raspberry and pomegranate to finishing with a light spicynote. Its characteristics are enhanced accompanied by Tuscan cured meat, or red meat in general, rice or pasta. It should be served in a crystal glass shared like a tulip and at a temperature of about 18 °C |
